Remembering Robert Weidle
Robert dedicated more than 20 years to embodying Christmas magic and left a simple challenge for everyone he met: “Do your very best to BE KIND!”
Robert was a beloved Santa at the Cincinnati Zoo, where generations of families came to know his warmth, hearty greeting, and genuine affection for people and animals.
He joined Ohio Santas on March 31, 2022, and became a valued part of the Claus community. His commitment extended beyond a red suit; he treated kindness as a daily responsibility.
His many years of service made him a Cincinnati holiday tradition. Ohio Santas honors his memory by carrying forward the message that guided his life: do your very best to be kind.
