Remembering Gregory “Greg” Hrehocik
Greg was a quiet and devoted Santa whose gift revealed itself when he put on the suit, bringing genuine joy, warmth, and an unmistakable twinkle to children and families.
Gregory “Greg” Hrehocik of Vermilion, Ohio, built a life around quiet dedication, steady love, and caring for others. He worked tirelessly for his family and showed love through action and commitment.
Known as Santa G, he gave himself fully to every visit. He served homes, tree lightings, parades, and community events across Northern Ohio. Families sometimes waited more than an hour at Light Up Norwalk because they knew a moment with Santa Greg would be worth it.
Greg attended the inaugural Master Claus Academy in 2024 and valued being part of a community committed to honoring the craft. His wife of 38 years, Charlotte, his children, grandchildren, and many friends knew the man behind the twinkle.
The magic Greg gave remains in the children who believed more strongly, the families who will remember “their Santa,” and the performers who understood the sincerity he brought to the suit.
